Despite the growing storm of controversy back home, the event seems to be going ahead. Because why not throw a party when the house is already on fire, right?
The festival, running from March 28 to 30, boasts a lineup of international stars, with Kim Soo Hyun being the biggest draw. Tickets? Sold out like hotcakes—VIP, general, and couple seats are already gone, leaving only a few seats reserved for the elderly. Guess grandma’s going to have the best view.
If the Taiwan fan meeting gets canceled, Kim Soo Hyun might be looking at a 1.32 billion KRW ($911,000) penalty fee. Event organizers are insisting the event is “proceeding as per the original contract,” but they’re clearly on standby with a finger hovering over the cancel button.
