On March 20, 2025, Lee Jun Ho, a prominent member of 2PM, announced his departure from JYP Entertainment after a remarkable 17-year tenure. According to JYP’s official statement, both parties agreed not to renew the contract on amicable terms.
Who’s Still With JYP and Who Isn’t?
2PM’s status is quite similar to 2nd Gen groups like SNSD and Super Junior. The group technically remains under JYP, but individual members have slowly moved on to new agencies. Here’s a quick rundown:

- Nichkhun (Primarily focused on acting and solo promotions in Thailand.
No Longer With JYP:
- Taecyeon (Left JYP in 2018, now under 51K)
- Chansung (Left JYP in 2022 to pursue acting and other ventures)
- Wooyoung (Left JYP in 2023 but remains active as a solo artist)
- Jun-ho (Officially left in March 20, 2025.
2PM’s last full-group concert series, “6Nights,” was held in 2017 before members began their mandatory military service. After completing their service, they made a comeback with the album MUST in June 2021. They also held an online fan meeting in September 2021. As of now, no official announcements have been made regarding future group activities.

- “Cashero”: In this Netflix series, Jun-ho portrays Kang Sang-woong, a civil servant who gains superhuman strength proportionate to the cash he possesses, leading him to use his powers for the greater good.
- “Typhoon Company”: Set against the backdrop of South Korea’s 1997 IMF financial crisis, Jun-ho plays Kang Tae-poong, the CEO striving to save his family’s business amidst economic turmoil.
